Posted by on: Thursday, Aug. 4th 2016 11:52 AM

As regular players at Tidy Bingo will know, Tidy is under new ownership now and as such, we need to settle the Tidy Savers promotion and ensure you all get your vouchers that you have saved with us up to and including 31st July 2016.

In total you managed to save £550.25 since November 2015, an impressive amount by all accounts!

Help For Heroes – Tidy Bingo’s 5th Donation

Posted by on: Wednesday, Aug. 3rd 2016 12:18 PM

On July 5th we made our 5th donation to Help for Heroes, taking the total amount donated at that point to an impressive £2,868.90! As is always the case when we make a donation, we received a letter thanking us just a few days later.

The letter thanks us for the donation and tells of his it is put to use supporting wounded soldiers and their families. If you read on, you will see a scanned copy of the letter.

Tidy Cupboard – Changes Afoot

Posted by on: Friday, Jul. 1st 2016 12:36 AM

As you will all know, for some time now we have seen a drop in the number of players in the Tidy Cupboard. This has continued for a while now and David and I have made a decision to change things around a little.

Rather than lose the room completely, something we don’t want to do, we’re going to try and revive it. How we plan to do that may sound a little odd but there is a method in our madness. However, it does mean that from 1st August 2016 the Cupboard is only to be open on the 1st Tuesday of every month.

Loyalty Rewarded At Tidy Bingo

Posted by on: Monday, Apr. 4th 2016 2:47 PM

As regulars at Tidy Bingo will know, the network offers a loyalty reward scheme that sees you earn extra bonuses, cash back etc. as you rise through the ranks. As a little something extra, we’re going to introduce a form of loyalty scheme into the Tidy Cupboard too.

As you will have noticed, player numbers have been dropping of late in the Cupboard and as such, it doesn’t remain viable to keep giving away as many loyalty points as we have been whilst player numbers diminish.

Tidy Bingo Up For Best Jumpman Gaming Bingo Site

Posted by on: Monday, Apr. 4th 2016 1:23 PM

The Which Bingo Award shortlist has been announced today and once again Tidy Bingo has received a nomination. This year there isn’t a Best Boutique Bingo Site, the category we usually find ourselves in. For 2016, we have been nominated as Best Jumpman Gaming Bingo Site and for the first time since we launched, we’re going to put a bit of effort into winning.

It’s not that we don’t want to win, of course it isn’t, but we are always competing with brands we have bigger budgets and more players so it often feels like we are a non-starter. This year however, only five of the brands under the Jumpman Gaming hat have been nominated so our odds of winning are slightly better!

Catchphrase Competition – March 2016

Posted by on: Thursday, Feb. 25th 2016 1:29 PM

Can you believe it’s nearly March already? It seems like only yesterday that we were running Christmas competitions and rummaging in Santa’s Sack! Anyway, as the year rolls on, it’s time for another Catchphrase competition and your chance to win a selection of Tidy branded goods, maybe some Help For Heroes bits and bobs and even some bonus funds!

This time we’re going to do things a little differently (not much) and will be sending the competition by internal mail, external mail and posting on Facebook. We’re hoping this gets more people involved and who knows, with enough entries – we might even throw in a few extra prizes!

Ham And Egg Cups

Posted by on: Sunday, Jan. 24th 2016 5:36 PM

As some of you may know, I’m currently with Slimming World trying to shed a few stone. If you’ve never done this diet before then it’s worth knowing that foods are divided into categories and it is actually the only diet that I have done that I have found really easy to stick to. The only thing that I am not completely comfortable with is the weekly meetings, and whilst I know many get a lot from the meetings – they don’t really do it for me. If any of you guys want to slim along with me – feel free. I lost 6.5lbs in my first week….

That said, I have paid for 10 sessions, so I will do those and then probably just continue alone at home. Anyway, I digress, the reason for this blog post was to share one of the recipes that I made today, one that I really enjoyed and takes hardly any time to make. It’s a free food, so you can eat as many of these as you want.

Free Jackpot Game – The Outcome

Posted by on: Saturday, Jan. 23rd 2016 9:50 PM

I thought that I’d sit in the room and watch our biggest every free game take place tonight, the big £1000 jackpot. I wanted to see who were winners, and of course, report the outcome to all the Tidy Bingo players who were otherwise engaged.

In total there were a whopping 4,437 when the game got underway and I was on tenterhooks (as I am sure the players in the room were too).

To date we have now donated £2238.75 with a further £49.25 raised since we last donated to this great cause. As always when we make a donation, Help For Heroes send us a letter and if you continue reading you will find a scan of the letter received.

Thank You, Thank You And Again, Thank You

Posted by on: Tuesday, Dec. 22nd 2015 7:38 PM

There are many things that I love about Tidy and for those of you that know me, you’ll know that it has always been a dream of mine to run my own bingo site. From player, to host, from host to writer and then writer to site owner, it took me ten years to get here but I did.

There have been ups and downs, as our blog readers know, but one of the biggest ups happened this week. Quietly beavering away in my office, the doorbell rings with a delivery…..

First Tidy Bingo Quiz Results

Monday, Sep. 30th 2013 7:04 AM

On Friday the first ever Tidy Quiz took place through the internal mail at the site and we were impressed to receive so many emails with correct answers. Impressed because it is nice to know that our blog is popular with our players.

All of the questions posed in the quiz have answers that were available here, on the blog. We thought it would make things a little more challenging than using Google and Tidyer’s responded well. But how did you do? Is your Tidy account going to be credited with a £2 bonus for getting all five answers correct? Here are all of the questions and their answers:

The Big Fox Debate – What Do They Say?

Sunday, Sep. 29th 2013 7:27 AM

Every now and then a great viral is released but even the best will not be to everyone’s liking. Personally I absolutely LOVE the Ylvis viral ‘What Does The Fox Say?” and with over 60 million views since it was published on 3rd September, I don’t appear to be the only one!

The clip is the brainchild of a comedy duo from Norway and is a music video. They two stars, Bård and Vegard Ylvisåker, sing of the different sounds various animals make but the chorus questions what sound a fox makes.

Cash Cloud Results – 26th September 2013

Saturday, Sep. 28th 2013 7:58 AM

Thursday 26th September saw another Cash Cloud jackpot game take place but sadly there weren’t nearly as many players in the game as in the previous week. There were just 104 players who had tickets for the game but of those  85 won a prize of at least £1.41.

So whilst the player numbers weren’t quite as impressive as last week, the percentage of players who won a prize was higher, 81% in comparison with just 64% in the last Cash Cloud game.

Tidy Bingo Quiz – You Have Mail!

Friday, Sep. 27th 2013 9:08 AM

One of the unique features available on the Jumpman Gaming software that the network is able to offer is the internal mail system. You may have noticed when you are logged in to your account, in the left hand navigation, is an Inbox button. When you have new mail this shows a star on the button with a number in it depicting the amount of mail that you have. It is worth keeping an eye on this because here at Tidy Bingo you could find a little bonus or two on offer! Certainly you will today as the first ever Quiz has launched.

We want to utilise this function to keep in touch with you and offer you exclusive bonuses and codes.

Tidy Factor – A Trial Run

Thursday, Sep. 26th 2013 10:29 AM

Have you been watching X Factor and making notes on who you think is going to get through Boot Camp and then the Judge’s Houses to make it as a finalist? I’ve certainly been watching and there are a few contestants I really like, but if I could vote in the Tidy Factor, I really don’t know who my virtual money would be on!

When you have decided which contestant your vote is going to be for in the Tidy Factor simply email team@tidybingo.com with their name and your username using the subject TIDY FACTOR. If you click the email link, the subject line will be filled in for you.

Proud Mummy Moments

Tuesday, Sep. 24th 2013 7:39 AM

One of the things that I was really keen to offer with Tidy Bingo was a real face of the brand, more than just your usual faceless names behind the site. David’s a little more private than me but in all honestly, my life is an open book with many a blank page but open for all to read if they are interested. For this reason the Tidy blog is somewhere where you will read/hear a lot about me and my life. Part of that is being a proud Mum to three kids and Nanna to twin girls….

Of course there are some things that you just don’t share on a public fora with complete strangers for many reasons. However, one of the things I really want to share with you are some videos of my middle son. I have three kids – Adam is 24 and a father to twin girls, Joshua is 21 (in January) and an entertainer at Butlins and Emily is 15 and in her final year of school with plans to join the RAF.

Making Buddies At Tidy Bingo

Monday, Sep. 23rd 2013 9:56 AM

When online bingo first launched it was one of the few places you could chat with like-minded people and the social aspect of the game was a big draw. Now we have Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr and other social platforms, and most of us are hooked, but where does that leave the social aspect of bingo? Well the 15 Network, on sites such as Tidy Bingo are addressing this, adding in a social aspect to their game, allowing you to add your bingo buddies to your friends list, so you can keep up with what they’re up to on site.

When you sign up to Tidy Bingo, you’ll see the ‘Friends’ tab on the left hand side of the page, and from here, you can add your bingo buddies, making it easy to keep in touch with your mates. You can even add friends from the list of people in the chat room by simply clicking their name.

Bucking Bronco Bike

Sunday, Sep. 22nd 2013 7:54 AM

As blog readers will know I have taken to cycling in an effort to lose weight and keep fit. However, it would seem that I am not really cut out for it but not because I don’t have the fitness levels or the equipment, it’s because I am the accident waiting to happen! On Friday 13th, with the encouragement and support of my fit friend Helen, I conquered the hill that has always beaten me, this Friday I didn’t AND I suffered the indignity of coming a cropper thanks to a wayward hoodie!

Let me try and relive the moment for you; I’d already hurt myself once on the bike ride on Friday by trying to race Helen up a hill (not THE hill). As I put my foot down to speed off it slipped off of the pedal gouging lumps out of my ankle and leaving blood trickling into my trainer….

Cash Cloud Results – 19th September 2013

Saturday, Sep. 21st 2013 7:36 AM

Another Thursday and another big prize pool for the Cash Cloud game but was it a record jackpot since Tidy launched or did if fall short? Well the prize pot for last Thursday was £375.96 and this Thursday it was £504.12 so it was over £100 more than the previous week but still over £70 lower than the highest jackpot since Tidy Bingo opened.

Statistically the percentage of winners this week was lower; there were 125 players but just 80 winners which meant just 64% of players won a prize in comparison with 68.5% last week.

Bingo And Romance – What’s The Connection?

Friday, Sep. 20th 2013 7:43 AM

In my time in the bingo industry I have written A LOT of content about the game; from promotions, to idiot guides to just sharing my opinions with anyone who reads my content. Along the way I have met some fabulous people, far too many to mention but if they are reading this then they will know who they are. My journey now continues with Tidy Bingo and all of you and I wanted to share an article that I was once asked to write…

We all know that sex sells but in an industry where the biggest demographic is women, is this true? Ann Summers Bingo, who remembers that site? We all know the name and what Ann Summers is about, but the bingo brand is no longer, it closed despite having some rather ‘near the knuckle’ bingo calls like ‘Dinner for two – 69’ and giving away Rabbits (and not the furry kind) as promotional prizes!
