Posted by on: Thursday, Aug. 4th 2016 11:52 AM

As regular players at Tidy Bingo will know, Tidy is under new ownership now and as such, we need to settle the Tidy Savers promotion and ensure you all get your vouchers that you have saved with us up to and including 31st July 2016.

In total you managed to save £550.25 since November 2015, an impressive amount by all accounts!

Help For Heroes – Tidy Bingo’s 5th Donation

Posted by on: Wednesday, Aug. 3rd 2016 12:18 PM

On July 5th we made our 5th donation to Help for Heroes, taking the total amount donated at that point to an impressive £2,868.90! As is always the case when we make a donation, we received a letter thanking us just a few days later.

The letter thanks us for the donation and tells of his it is put to use supporting wounded soldiers and their families. If you read on, you will see a scanned copy of the letter.

Tidy Cupboard – Changes Afoot

Posted by on: Friday, Jul. 1st 2016 12:36 AM

As you will all know, for some time now we have seen a drop in the number of players in the Tidy Cupboard. This has continued for a while now and David and I have made a decision to change things around a little.

Rather than lose the room completely, something we don’t want to do, we’re going to try and revive it. How we plan to do that may sound a little odd but there is a method in our madness. However, it does mean that from 1st August 2016 the Cupboard is only to be open on the 1st Tuesday of every month.

Loyalty Rewarded At Tidy Bingo

Posted by on: Monday, Apr. 4th 2016 2:47 PM

As regulars at Tidy Bingo will know, the network offers a loyalty reward scheme that sees you earn extra bonuses, cash back etc. as you rise through the ranks. As a little something extra, we’re going to introduce a form of loyalty scheme into the Tidy Cupboard too.

As you will have noticed, player numbers have been dropping of late in the Cupboard and as such, it doesn’t remain viable to keep giving away as many loyalty points as we have been whilst player numbers diminish.

Tidy Bingo Up For Best Jumpman Gaming Bingo Site

Posted by on: Monday, Apr. 4th 2016 1:23 PM

The Which Bingo Award shortlist has been announced today and once again Tidy Bingo has received a nomination. This year there isn’t a Best Boutique Bingo Site, the category we usually find ourselves in. For 2016, we have been nominated as Best Jumpman Gaming Bingo Site and for the first time since we launched, we’re going to put a bit of effort into winning.

It’s not that we don’t want to win, of course it isn’t, but we are always competing with brands we have bigger budgets and more players so it often feels like we are a non-starter. This year however, only five of the brands under the Jumpman Gaming hat have been nominated so our odds of winning are slightly better!

Catchphrase Competition – March 2016

Posted by on: Thursday, Feb. 25th 2016 1:29 PM

Can you believe it’s nearly March already? It seems like only yesterday that we were running Christmas competitions and rummaging in Santa’s Sack! Anyway, as the year rolls on, it’s time for another Catchphrase competition and your chance to win a selection of Tidy branded goods, maybe some Help For Heroes bits and bobs and even some bonus funds!

This time we’re going to do things a little differently (not much) and will be sending the competition by internal mail, external mail and posting on Facebook. We’re hoping this gets more people involved and who knows, with enough entries – we might even throw in a few extra prizes!

Ham And Egg Cups

Posted by on: Sunday, Jan. 24th 2016 5:36 PM

As some of you may know, I’m currently with Slimming World trying to shed a few stone. If you’ve never done this diet before then it’s worth knowing that foods are divided into categories and it is actually the only diet that I have done that I have found really easy to stick to. The only thing that I am not completely comfortable with is the weekly meetings, and whilst I know many get a lot from the meetings – they don’t really do it for me. If any of you guys want to slim along with me – feel free. I lost 6.5lbs in my first week….

That said, I have paid for 10 sessions, so I will do those and then probably just continue alone at home. Anyway, I digress, the reason for this blog post was to share one of the recipes that I made today, one that I really enjoyed and takes hardly any time to make. It’s a free food, so you can eat as many of these as you want.

Free Jackpot Game – The Outcome

Posted by on: Saturday, Jan. 23rd 2016 9:50 PM

I thought that I’d sit in the room and watch our biggest every free game take place tonight, the big £1000 jackpot. I wanted to see who were winners, and of course, report the outcome to all the Tidy Bingo players who were otherwise engaged.

In total there were a whopping 4,437 when the game got underway and I was on tenterhooks (as I am sure the players in the room were too).

Posted by on: Tuesday, Jan. 5th 2016 3:56 PM

Just before Christmas we made our fourth donation to the Help For Heroes charity thanks to the your continued support of the Tidy and the Troops game.

To date we have now donated £2238.75 with a further £49.25 raised since we last donated to this great cause. As always when we make a donation, Help For Heroes send us a letter and if you continue reading you will find a scan of the letter received.

Thank You, Thank You And Again, Thank You

Posted by on: Tuesday, Dec. 22nd 2015 7:38 PM

There are many things that I love about Tidy and for those of you that know me, you’ll know that it has always been a dream of mine to run my own bingo site. From player, to host, from host to writer and then writer to site owner, it took me ten years to get here but I did.

There have been ups and downs, as our blog readers know, but one of the biggest ups happened this week. Quietly beavering away in my office, the doorbell rings with a delivery…..

First Ever Even Stevens Game

Friday, Nov. 29th 2013 10:14 PM

The first ever Even Stevens game took place last night at 7pm, tickets for the game cost £2.00 each but in total there was £524.27 to be won in the 90 ball game with 1TG and 2TG prizes. 60 players had purchased tickets for the game and of these 27 people won at least £3.97 each.

As we usually do with results on the big money games, we are going to look at how well Tidyer’s fared in the new room. A room that offers equally prizes for the one line, two lines and the full house – hence the name Even Stevens.

For The Love Of Bingo Winners

Thursday, Nov. 28th 2013 2:53 PM

The For The Love Of Bingo promotion ended on Sunday last week and we now have the list of winners from this network promotion. As is always the case, I am curious to see how Tidyer’s fared in the network promotion so have gone through the list of winners with a fine toothed comb to weed out the players on other brands on the network and have just a list of Tidyers.

In total there were 52 winners who each won either £5, £10, £25, £50 or £75 in Amazon vouchers. Of the 52 network winners I can tell you that were from 11 Tidy Bingo, not a bad result considering 10 other brands also participated in the promotion.

What’s A Facebook Like Worth To You?

Wednesday, Nov. 27th 2013 12:14 AM

Currently, well at the last count at least, we have 184 likes on Facebook. When we hit 200 we will be giving away a £50 Amazon voucher as part of the Facebook Snowball offer that is exclusive to Tidy Bingo players. That in itself should be reason enough to pop along and click the ‘Like’ button but now you have even more reason to…

Come the 1st December we are opening Santa’s Sack and offering all players at Tidy (and only Tidy, not the network) the chance to win a prize a day in our latest exclusive promotion. Each day there will be a task that you need to complete and some of these will involve posting on our Facebook wall.

Celebrating 10 Years Of The X Factor – Hannah Leaves

Sunday, Nov. 24th 2013 9:08 PM

Last night’s X Factor show saw the remaining contestants perform songs that had been done by other acts in previous series of the show. We even saw Olly Murs perform his song Hand On Heart, I don’t know about you but I went and bought the song on iTunes straight after the song.

Each of the acts got to meet a previous contestant of the show and it all started with Nicholas McDonald who sang The Climb. He got to meet Joe McElderry (who looked rather tango’d) before performing. Hannah Barrett met Alexandra Burke and sang Hallelujah but then it went a bit off track I thought – Luke Friend met Shane Ward but sang a One Direction song? Are they too big to sing meet Luke? Odd because they appeared on tonight’s show!

Newbie Jackpot Results – 22nd November 2013

Sunday, Nov. 24th 2013 7:31 AM

On Friday night another Newbie Jackpot game took place for those players who have registered with Tidy Bingo and other sites on the network over the last couple of weeks. Each week Tidyers have consistently done quite well in the results considering there are now 11 other brands on the 15 Network, is this the case again this week?

There were 42 players who took part in the game on Friday evening and of them 19 were winners who netted at least £4.55 each. Of the 19 winners on the Newbie Jackpot game on 22nd November 2013 seven were from Tidy Bingo.

Cash Cloud Results – 21st November 2013

Saturday, Nov. 23rd 2013 7:56 AM

Thursday night saw the last ever big money game in the Cash Cloud room. Whilst the room is still available until this evening, that’s it then – it is being replaced with Even Stevens. I was really hoping that we could have smashed our record on Thursday but sadly this was not to be. There were 97 players who had tickets in the game but we only managed a jackpot of £348.28.

However, whilst we may not have beaten the jackpot there were 59 winners of the 97 players that took part, 59 players who won at least £2.03 each. This means that 60.82% of players were winners.

New Room – The Grotto

Friday, Nov. 22nd 2013 7:50 AM

Unless you have passed through the Tidy Bingo lobby with a blindfold on then you will have noticed a new room has appeared, a room called The Grotto. As you have probably deduced by now this is a room that is part of the festive promotional schedule across the network but what exactly is going to be happening in The Grotto?

Every Monday and Thursday (the first game is on 2nd December and the last on 26th December) there is going to be a little more on offer than your traditional cash prizes on the games in The Grotto.

A Fond Farewell To Cash Cloud

Thursday, Nov. 21st 2013 11:36 AM

Firstly an apology, I’ve been a bit busy creating the exclusive promotion for Tidyer’s for December which has meant that I’ve been a bit quiet here on the blog! However, it’s all done and details should be live on the promotions page next week. I’m back now but with sad news. As Tidy blog readers will know I’ve quite enjoyed a Thursday and the first game in the Cash Cloud room.

Since Tidy first opened I’ve religiously checked the jackpot on the first game every Thursday to see if we ever beat the record of just over £583. This Thursday is the last time I will be able to do that because the Cash Cloud is closing. Tonight is the last game in the Cash Cloud room so come on Tidyer’s let’s give the room a good send off and beat our record!

Retail Therapy Tidy Style

Monday, Nov. 18th 2013 10:01 PM

I’ve been in bingo quite some time as some of you will already know. I started as a player, then I opened my own portal reviewing other brands, I’ve been a chat host, a writer (or commentator as someone once referred to me as) and now I own half of Tidy Bingo. All those years ago when I started playing online I knew one day I’d own a site, it only took me nearly 10 years though.

Working in bingo means no two days are the same. Today was certainly a different day but I had a blast. My whole day, from 7am this morning until writing this article has been about creating the next exclusive promotion for Tidy players. I’ve put my heart and soul into it and I’m really excited for December and how you guys take to the next promotion.

Great British Songbook X Factor Results

Sunday, Nov. 17th 2013 10:34 PM

Last night saw the remaining X Factor acts perform from the Great British songbook. However Dermot O’Leary made his entrance to a song from a Norwegian comedy duo – Ylvis and What Does The Fox Say? Hannah Barrett opened the show with a Rolling Stones song, Satisfaction. The judges comments for her performance seemed to focus on her ‘coming out fighting’ and a good song choice.

Following Hannah was Luke Friend and Louis puffing out his chest at being the only judge to have all acts left. Luke performed Your Song by Elton John and ruined it, in my opinion. The judges again referred to ‘coming back fighting’ but praised him for putting his own spin on it.
