As regular players at Tidy Bingo will know, Tidy is under new ownership now and as such, we need to settle the Tidy Savers promotion and ensure you all get your vouchers that you have saved with us up to and including 31st July 2016.

In total you managed to save £550.25 since November 2015, an impressive amount by all accounts!

Help For Heroes – Tidy Bingo’s 5th Donation

Posted by on: Wednesday, Aug. 3rd 2016 12:18 PM

On July 5th we made our 5th donation to Help for Heroes, taking the total amount donated at that point to an impressive £2,868.90! As is always the case when we make a donation, we received a letter thanking us just a few days later.

The letter thanks us for the donation and tells of his it is put to use supporting wounded soldiers and their families. If you read on, you will see a scanned copy of the letter.

Tidy Cupboard – Changes Afoot

Posted by on: Friday, Jul. 1st 2016 12:36 AM

As you will all know, for some time now we have seen a drop in the number of players in the Tidy Cupboard. This has continued for a while now and David and I have made a decision to change things around a little.

Rather than lose the room completely, something we don’t want to do, we’re going to try and revive it. How we plan to do that may sound a little odd but there is a method in our madness. However, it does mean that from 1st August 2016 the Cupboard is only to be open on the 1st Tuesday of every month.

Loyalty Rewarded At Tidy Bingo

Posted by on: Monday, Apr. 4th 2016 2:47 PM

As regulars at Tidy Bingo will know, the network offers a loyalty reward scheme that sees you earn extra bonuses, cash back etc. as you rise through the ranks. As a little something extra, we’re going to introduce a form of loyalty scheme into the Tidy Cupboard too.

As you will have noticed, player numbers have been dropping of late in the Cupboard and as such, it doesn’t remain viable to keep giving away as many loyalty points as we have been whilst player numbers diminish.

Tidy Bingo Up For Best Jumpman Gaming Bingo Site

Posted by on: Monday, Apr. 4th 2016 1:23 PM

The Which Bingo Award shortlist has been announced today and once again Tidy Bingo has received a nomination. This year there isn’t a Best Boutique Bingo Site, the category we usually find ourselves in. For 2016, we have been nominated as Best Jumpman Gaming Bingo Site and for the first time since we launched, we’re going to put a bit of effort into winning.

It’s not that we don’t want to win, of course it isn’t, but we are always competing with brands we have bigger budgets and more players so it often feels like we are a non-starter. This year however, only five of the brands under the Jumpman Gaming hat have been nominated so our odds of winning are slightly better!

Catchphrase Competition – March 2016

Posted by on: Thursday, Feb. 25th 2016 1:29 PM

Can you believe it’s nearly March already? It seems like only yesterday that we were running Christmas competitions and rummaging in Santa’s Sack! Anyway, as the year rolls on, it’s time for another Catchphrase competition and your chance to win a selection of Tidy branded goods, maybe some Help For Heroes bits and bobs and even some bonus funds!

This time we’re going to do things a little differently (not much) and will be sending the competition by internal mail, external mail and posting on Facebook. We’re hoping this gets more people involved and who knows, with enough entries – we might even throw in a few extra prizes!

Ham And Egg Cups

Posted by on: Sunday, Jan. 24th 2016 5:36 PM

As some of you may know, I’m currently with Slimming World trying to shed a few stone. If you’ve never done this diet before then it’s worth knowing that foods are divided into categories and it is actually the only diet that I have done that I have found really easy to stick to. The only thing that I am not completely comfortable with is the weekly meetings, and whilst I know many get a lot from the meetings – they don’t really do it for me. If any of you guys want to slim along with me – feel free. I lost 6.5lbs in my first week….

That said, I have paid for 10 sessions, so I will do those and then probably just continue alone at home. Anyway, I digress, the reason for this blog post was to share one of the recipes that I made today, one that I really enjoyed and takes hardly any time to make. It’s a free food, so you can eat as many of these as you want.

Free Jackpot Game – The Outcome

Posted by on: Saturday, Jan. 23rd 2016 9:50 PM

I thought that I’d sit in the room and watch our biggest every free game take place tonight, the big £1000 jackpot. I wanted to see who were winners, and of course, report the outcome to all the Tidy Bingo players who were otherwise engaged.

In total there were a whopping 4,437 when the game got underway and I was on tenterhooks (as I am sure the players in the room were too).

Thank You, Thank You And Again, Thank You

Posted by on: Tuesday, Dec. 22nd 2015 7:38 PM

There are many things that I love about Tidy and for those of you that know me, you’ll know that it has always been a dream of mine to run my own bingo site. From player, to host, from host to writer and then writer to site owner, it took me ten years to get here but I did.

There have been ups and downs, as our blog readers know, but one of the biggest ups happened this week. Quietly beavering away in my office, the doorbell rings with a delivery…..

Match Report – Rockets vs Unicorns – 28/09/14

Tuesday, Sep. 30th 2014 10:23 PM

Our Rockets match v Unicorns (always a tough fixture) was cancelled. Unicorns could not get a full team together and forfeited the match so Rockets get the points. Next week Rockets are the only team with a fixture where they will come up against the other Ripon team, Ripon Raiders. They have just been relegated from the first division so this could prove to be a telling fixture. Comets and Meteors have a well earned rest! More next week…

Match Report – Meteors vs Sapphires – 28/09/14

Tuesday, Sep. 30th 2014 10:21 PM

Hi Tidyers, Helen again! This week’s match saw Meteors against Sapphires. This is an up and coming team getting better all the time and although we were confident of a victory we could not afford to take anything for granted. Once again I took a quarter to settle into my shooting – as an excuse I came straight onto court after umpiring for our Comets team and had no chance to even put a few shots up before the whistle blew for the start of play.

This was the first time we were playing as the team I had planned at the start of the season. Helen Walton hotfooted it back from Masham Sheep Fair to play Goalkeeper and the relationship between her and Ashley Anderson as Goal Defence just gets better and better. They are both reasonably tall which is always good for a circle defence unit, both jump well for rebounds and implement the netball law of ‘Give and Go’ – always offering support to one another.

80 Million Reasons To Play In The Tidy Cupboard

Wednesday, Sep. 24th 2014 9:50 AM

On Friday 3rd October 2014 it is World Smile Day and the 15 Network is hosting a big money jackpot game for an impressive £2,500 prize pool. Tickets are on sale now at £1 each and for that price you could get a share of the bounty even if you aren’t actually a winner. Tidy Bingo want to make their players grin from ear to ear that day and whilst you are hoping to be a winner in the World Smile Day game, you’ll want to make sure you have been in the Cupboard (our standalone room) on the Tuesday prior (30th September)…..

Regulars in the Tidy Bingo Cupboard will know of the Tidy Millions promotion, your chance to take a share of any winnings generated from a Euromillions ticket we purchase for the Tuesday night. Get your name in the syndicate for the 30th September and you’ll be getting a little more than you expected. We are going to do you a little deal, a buy one get one free if you like. As well as the World Smile Day jackpot on World Smile Day there is an £80 million Superdraw for the Euromillions and we are going to have tickets for the Tidy Millions in that draw too as a bonus.

Match Report – Meteors vs Comets – 21/09/14

Sunday, Sep. 21st 2014 7:16 PM

Hi Tidyers, Helen here – the coach for the netball teams that Tidy Bingo sponsor. Today was Ripon Meteors’ first match. On the way to Ashville we had a shout out on BBC Radio York. We proudly put on our sponsored bibs which only arrived on Friday – great timing. Only seven of us could play today so we knew we were in for a full hour’s play and we were determined to get the season off to a fine start by hopefully notching up a victory.

In the first quarter it all went horribly wrong – the other team scored first which was ok cos they had the first centre pass, but then they scored on our centre pass and again on theirs. We hadn’t settled as a team at all – passes were awry, my shooting was abysmal, our GK hurt her knee (remember we had no reserves!) By the end of the first quarter we were 5 – 10 down. Eeeek.

Exclusive Progressive Jackpot at Tidy – A Few Stats

Wednesday, Sep. 17th 2014 2:29 PM

Last night we saw our FIFTH progressive jackpot winner take home the exclusive jackpot in the Tidy Cupboard and whilst I’ve been writing the promotional news to celebrate and big up our brand on the Internet, I noticed how little is actually spent on tickets by the winners. That’s great for players and we thought we’d share the stats with you for the last five progressive winners, a little who did best for return on investment if you like.

So our very first winner was heidi2111 on 27th May, she won £80.53. The second winner was xxxBAZINGAxxx and her win came on 24th June and was worth £82.95. The third and fourth happened in one session of the Tidy Cupboard and saw billy0mates take home £93.29 followed by tickleme and her win of £77.48. The fifth win happened just yesterday and this time it was the turn of tytyj who landed £79.76.

Heads Up For Tidy Blog Readers

Monday, Sep. 15th 2014 8:07 PM

On 19th September there is to be a change to Team Bingo. The first change is the name, it will be known as Dream Team Bingo from that date. The other changes we will explain in a moment along with details of how you can claim a £5 bonus. Now this bonus is restricted to a first come first served basis and being offered to players across the network. There are to be just 20 of the £5 bonuses given away in total across the 15 Network and we want Tidyers to be in there claiming them!

The bonus is to be given to the first 20 players to register for Dream Team Bingo BUT you cannot email in until the 19th September when the content for the promotion is live on the site.

Bye, Bye Even Stevens, Hello Cash Splash

Wednesday, Sep. 10th 2014 9:52 AM

You may have noticed a change to the Tidy Bingo lobby recently. Even Stevens has gone and has been replaced with a new room called Cash Splash. I thought I’d take the time to explain the differences in the new room. The most obvious being that instead of the same prize for one line, two lines and the full house, Cash Splash has the more traditional way of splitting a 90 ball pot.

There are prizes for one line, two lines and the full house on offer in the Cash Splash room but also 1TG and 2TG prizes for those that close but are pipped at the proverbial post. The pots are split as approximately 10% for the one line, 25% for two lines and 45% for the full house with the 1TG and 2TG sharing the remaining 20%.

Double Whammy PJP’s In The Tidy Cupboard

Tuesday, Sep. 2nd 2014 9:41 PM

Our players will know that the exclusive progressive jackpot was only introduced at Tidy Bingo on 20th May 2014 and prior to this evening had only been won twice. The first win came just a week after it was introduced. ‘heidi2111’ called bingo in 44 numbers on the number 50 and landed herself £80.53 on 27th May.

Just over a month later over £80 was won by ‘xxxBAZINGAxxx’ when she called bingo in just 36 calls on the number 20.
