Posted by on: Thursday, Aug. 4th 2016 11:52 AM

As regular players at Tidy Bingo will know, Tidy is under new ownership now and as such, we need to settle the Tidy Savers promotion and ensure you all get your vouchers that you have saved with us up to and including 31st July 2016.

In total you managed to save £550.25 since November 2015, an impressive amount by all accounts!

On July 5th we made our 5th donation to Help for Heroes, taking the total amount donated at that point to an impressive £2,868.90! As is always the case when we make a donation, we received a letter thanking us just a few days later.

The letter thanks us for the donation and tells of his it is put to use supporting wounded soldiers and their families. If you read on, you will see a scanned copy of the letter.

Tidy Cupboard – Changes Afoot

Posted by on: Friday, Jul. 1st 2016 12:36 AM

As you will all know, for some time now we have seen a drop in the number of players in the Tidy Cupboard. This has continued for a while now and David and I have made a decision to change things around a little.

Rather than lose the room completely, something we don’t want to do, we’re going to try and revive it. How we plan to do that may sound a little odd but there is a method in our madness. However, it does mean that from 1st August 2016 the Cupboard is only to be open on the 1st Tuesday of every month.

Loyalty Rewarded At Tidy Bingo

Posted by on: Monday, Apr. 4th 2016 2:47 PM

As regulars at Tidy Bingo will know, the network offers a loyalty reward scheme that sees you earn extra bonuses, cash back etc. as you rise through the ranks. As a little something extra, we’re going to introduce a form of loyalty scheme into the Tidy Cupboard too.

As you will have noticed, player numbers have been dropping of late in the Cupboard and as such, it doesn’t remain viable to keep giving away as many loyalty points as we have been whilst player numbers diminish.

Tidy Bingo Up For Best Jumpman Gaming Bingo Site

Posted by on: Monday, Apr. 4th 2016 1:23 PM

The Which Bingo Award shortlist has been announced today and once again Tidy Bingo has received a nomination. This year there isn’t a Best Boutique Bingo Site, the category we usually find ourselves in. For 2016, we have been nominated as Best Jumpman Gaming Bingo Site and for the first time since we launched, we’re going to put a bit of effort into winning.

It’s not that we don’t want to win, of course it isn’t, but we are always competing with brands we have bigger budgets and more players so it often feels like we are a non-starter. This year however, only five of the brands under the Jumpman Gaming hat have been nominated so our odds of winning are slightly better!

Catchphrase Competition – March 2016

Posted by on: Thursday, Feb. 25th 2016 1:29 PM

Can you believe it’s nearly March already? It seems like only yesterday that we were running Christmas competitions and rummaging in Santa’s Sack! Anyway, as the year rolls on, it’s time for another Catchphrase competition and your chance to win a selection of Tidy branded goods, maybe some Help For Heroes bits and bobs and even some bonus funds!

This time we’re going to do things a little differently (not much) and will be sending the competition by internal mail, external mail and posting on Facebook. We’re hoping this gets more people involved and who knows, with enough entries – we might even throw in a few extra prizes!

Ham And Egg Cups

Posted by on: Sunday, Jan. 24th 2016 5:36 PM

As some of you may know, I’m currently with Slimming World trying to shed a few stone. If you’ve never done this diet before then it’s worth knowing that foods are divided into categories and it is actually the only diet that I have done that I have found really easy to stick to. The only thing that I am not completely comfortable with is the weekly meetings, and whilst I know many get a lot from the meetings – they don’t really do it for me. If any of you guys want to slim along with me – feel free. I lost 6.5lbs in my first week….

That said, I have paid for 10 sessions, so I will do those and then probably just continue alone at home. Anyway, I digress, the reason for this blog post was to share one of the recipes that I made today, one that I really enjoyed and takes hardly any time to make. It’s a free food, so you can eat as many of these as you want.

Free Jackpot Game – The Outcome

Posted by on: Saturday, Jan. 23rd 2016 9:50 PM

I thought that I’d sit in the room and watch our biggest every free game take place tonight, the big £1000 jackpot. I wanted to see who were winners, and of course, report the outcome to all the Tidy Bingo players who were otherwise engaged.

In total there were a whopping 4,437 when the game got underway and I was on tenterhooks (as I am sure the players in the room were too).

Posted by on: Tuesday, Jan. 5th 2016 3:56 PM

Just before Christmas we made our fourth donation to the Help For Heroes charity thanks to the your continued support of the Tidy and the Troops game.

To date we have now donated £2238.75 with a further £49.25 raised since we last donated to this great cause. As always when we make a donation, Help For Heroes send us a letter and if you continue reading you will find a scan of the letter received.

Thank You, Thank You And Again, Thank You

Posted by on: Tuesday, Dec. 22nd 2015 7:38 PM

There are many things that I love about Tidy and for those of you that know me, you’ll know that it has always been a dream of mine to run my own bingo site. From player, to host, from host to writer and then writer to site owner, it took me ten years to get here but I did.

There have been ups and downs, as our blog readers know, but one of the biggest ups happened this week. Quietly beavering away in my office, the doorbell rings with a delivery…..

Prize Delivery Delays – March 2015

Saturday, Mar. 21st 2015 12:50 PM

For a week at the end of March I am away on my holidays and for players this means a couple of things. Firstly, the Tidy Cupboard session of 31st March will not be hosted by me, instead you will be looked after by the soon to be permanent fixture on a Friday night, the lovely CM Blondie! She’ll be announcing the Birthday Bash, First Timers Freebie and Roomie of the Month winners for March on that night too!

It is the prizes and their delivery that are going to be affected most by my little holiday, there will be a slight delay unfortunately. Winners of the Mum’s The Word promotion, David’s Weekend Fun Pack, Birthday Bash, Roomie of The Month and First Timers Freebie will have to wait until my return on 6th April for their prizes to be despatched.

Bingopoly – A New Chat Tournament

Wednesday, Feb. 4th 2015 1:13 PM

I’m sure that at some point in time you have played the board game Monopoly and you will all know the rules to the game. Bingopoly is a little bit like the board game but you don’t roll dice, and you don’t have any cash to start with. However, you do have to collect items by playing bingo in the two hour sessions and if you’re a winner, there is a decent prize pool up for grabs – we’re even going to give points to the runner up too.

First things first; why you should pop along and play Bingopoly? the prize pool of course. That and all the fun of the tournament. Cheer on your fellow roomies and commiserate with them if the score a dud! For the player who has scored the most points in the two hour session there will be a top prize of 20,000 loyalty points, for second place 10,000. For the duration of the tournament, if you win on certain numbers, there will be random 500 / 1,000 loyalty points (LPs) given away too.

New Tidy Bingo Catchphrase Free Comp Launched

Thursday, Jan. 29th 2015 2:24 PM

It’s been a while since we launched a new Catchphrase competition on our Facebook page but today that is exactly what we have done. Whilst we understand that some of our players don’t use social media sites like Facebook and Twitter, for us here at Tidy Bingo it is a great way to get our name out there.

For this competition we are asking a little more than six correct answers to be in the draw to win the three prizes on offer. We want you to share the Tidy Bingo love with your friends and in this article we’ll show you the six images you need to decipher, tell you the three prizes on offer and talk you through ensuring your name is in the draw to be a winner.

Changes To Payday Jackpot

Saturday, Jan. 24th 2015 7:09 AM

The payday jackpot has been a popular game with players across the 15 Network and there have even been a few Tidy winners along the way. Currently the £1,000 jackpot is split between the one line, two line and full house winners on the game but as from 28th February this is set to change as the game becomes a community jackpot game.

For players this means more chances to win as a substantial amount of the prize pool, £300 to be exact, is taken to share amongst the players left with 1TG, 2TG and 3TG when the full house has been called.

Coming Soon To Tidy And The 15 Network

Friday, Jan. 23rd 2015 7:49 AM

Players at Tidy Bingo, at the regulars in the Cupboard, will be well aware of our Roomie Of The Month promotion and the chance to win a tangible prize each and every month. It’s our way of saying thank you for your continued support of Tidy, and of course a little kudos for you if you get to wear the ROTM badge! The 15 Network is soon to introduce their own version of this promotion called VIP of the Month.

Although the principle is the same, a way of rewarding loyalty to the brand but this is done on a point scoring system with the VIP of the Month promo rather than by contribution to the site via chat and social media as it is with Roomie of the Month at Tidy Bingo.

Second Donation Made To Help For Heroes

Monday, Oct. 20th 2014 3:55 PM

As a player at Tidy Bingo and someone who reads our blog the chances are you will be well aware of how Tidy and The Troops works and what the promotion is all about. Bear with is though, not all players have been with us since we launched in August 2013 so we will explain a little more.

Tidy and The Troops is a special promotional game that plays every Tuesday night at 7pm. Tickets for the game cost just 25p each and the jackpot if guaranteed at £50. Rather than keeping any profit over and above the jackpot that may or not be made on the game, Tidy Bingo have opted to donate all proceeds from ticket sales over £50 to Help For Heroes (the maths is that we need to sell 200 tickets to create the jackpot, anything over this is added to the kitty).

World Smile Day Jackpot Results

Sunday, Oct. 5th 2014 10:26 PM

On Friday the biggest jackpot game at Tidy Bingo since we launched on 21st August 2013 was played and we thought you might be interested to hear about the winners of the game and how Tidyers in general faired. If we are honest, there wasn’t that many of our players who even bothered buying a ticket so we’d be interested to hear what it was about the game that didn’t get your bingo juices flowing?

Was it the price of the tickets or did you just believe, as a networked game, that you had little chance of winning? We’d love your feedback please.

80 Million Reasons To Play In The Tidy Cupboard

Wednesday, Sep. 24th 2014 9:50 AM

On Friday 3rd October 2014 it is World Smile Day and the 15 Network is hosting a big money jackpot game for an impressive £2,500 prize pool. Tickets are on sale now at £1 each and for that price you could get a share of the bounty even if you aren’t actually a winner. Tidy Bingo want to make their players grin from ear to ear that day and whilst you are hoping to be a winner in the World Smile Day game, you’ll want to make sure you have been in the Cupboard (our standalone room) on the Tuesday prior (30th September)…..

Regulars in the Tidy Bingo Cupboard will know of the Tidy Millions promotion, your chance to take a share of any winnings generated from a Euromillions ticket we purchase for the Tuesday night. Get your name in the syndicate for the 30th September and you’ll be getting a little more than you expected. We are going to do you a little deal, a buy one get one free if you like. As well as the World Smile Day jackpot on World Smile Day there is an £80 million Superdraw for the Euromillions and we are going to have tickets for the Tidy Millions in that draw too as a bonus.

Bye, Bye Even Stevens, Hello Cash Splash

Wednesday, Sep. 10th 2014 9:52 AM

You may have noticed a change to the Tidy Bingo lobby recently. Even Stevens has gone and has been replaced with a new room called Cash Splash. I thought I’d take the time to explain the differences in the new room. The most obvious being that instead of the same prize for one line, two lines and the full house, Cash Splash has the more traditional way of splitting a 90 ball pot.

There are prizes for one line, two lines and the full house on offer in the Cash Splash room but also 1TG and 2TG prizes for those that close but are pipped at the proverbial post. The pots are split as approximately 10% for the one line, 25% for two lines and 45% for the full house with the 1TG and 2TG sharing the remaining 20%.
