Posted by on: Thursday, Aug. 4th 2016 11:52 AM

As regular players at Tidy Bingo will know, Tidy is under new ownership now and as such, we need to settle the Tidy Savers promotion and ensure you all get your vouchers that you have saved with us up to and including 31st July 2016.

In total you managed to save £550.25 since November 2015, an impressive amount by all accounts!

Help For Heroes – Tidy Bingo’s 5th Donation

Posted by on: Wednesday, Aug. 3rd 2016 12:18 PM

On July 5th we made our 5th donation to Help for Heroes, taking the total amount donated at that point to an impressive £2,868.90! As is always the case when we make a donation, we received a letter thanking us just a few days later.

The letter thanks us for the donation and tells of his it is put to use supporting wounded soldiers and their families. If you read on, you will see a scanned copy of the letter.

Tidy Cupboard – Changes Afoot

Posted by on: Friday, Jul. 1st 2016 12:36 AM

As you will all know, for some time now we have seen a drop in the number of players in the Tidy Cupboard. This has continued for a while now and David and I have made a decision to change things around a little.

Rather than lose the room completely, something we don’t want to do, we’re going to try and revive it. How we plan to do that may sound a little odd but there is a method in our madness. However, it does mean that from 1st August 2016 the Cupboard is only to be open on the 1st Tuesday of every month.

Loyalty Rewarded At Tidy Bingo

Posted by on: Monday, Apr. 4th 2016 2:47 PM

As regulars at Tidy Bingo will know, the network offers a loyalty reward scheme that sees you earn extra bonuses, cash back etc. as you rise through the ranks. As a little something extra, we’re going to introduce a form of loyalty scheme into the Tidy Cupboard too.

As you will have noticed, player numbers have been dropping of late in the Cupboard and as such, it doesn’t remain viable to keep giving away as many loyalty points as we have been whilst player numbers diminish.

Tidy Bingo Up For Best Jumpman Gaming Bingo Site

Posted by on: Monday, Apr. 4th 2016 1:23 PM

The Which Bingo Award shortlist has been announced today and once again Tidy Bingo has received a nomination. This year there isn’t a Best Boutique Bingo Site, the category we usually find ourselves in. For 2016, we have been nominated as Best Jumpman Gaming Bingo Site and for the first time since we launched, we’re going to put a bit of effort into winning.

It’s not that we don’t want to win, of course it isn’t, but we are always competing with brands we have bigger budgets and more players so it often feels like we are a non-starter. This year however, only five of the brands under the Jumpman Gaming hat have been nominated so our odds of winning are slightly better!

Catchphrase Competition – March 2016

Posted by on: Thursday, Feb. 25th 2016 1:29 PM

Can you believe it’s nearly March already? It seems like only yesterday that we were running Christmas competitions and rummaging in Santa’s Sack! Anyway, as the year rolls on, it’s time for another Catchphrase competition and your chance to win a selection of Tidy branded goods, maybe some Help For Heroes bits and bobs and even some bonus funds!

This time we’re going to do things a little differently (not much) and will be sending the competition by internal mail, external mail and posting on Facebook. We’re hoping this gets more people involved and who knows, with enough entries – we might even throw in a few extra prizes!

Ham And Egg Cups

Posted by on: Sunday, Jan. 24th 2016 5:36 PM

As some of you may know, I’m currently with Slimming World trying to shed a few stone. If you’ve never done this diet before then it’s worth knowing that foods are divided into categories and it is actually the only diet that I have done that I have found really easy to stick to. The only thing that I am not completely comfortable with is the weekly meetings, and whilst I know many get a lot from the meetings – they don’t really do it for me. If any of you guys want to slim along with me – feel free. I lost 6.5lbs in my first week….

That said, I have paid for 10 sessions, so I will do those and then probably just continue alone at home. Anyway, I digress, the reason for this blog post was to share one of the recipes that I made today, one that I really enjoyed and takes hardly any time to make. It’s a free food, so you can eat as many of these as you want.

Free Jackpot Game – The Outcome

Posted by on: Saturday, Jan. 23rd 2016 9:50 PM

I thought that I’d sit in the room and watch our biggest every free game take place tonight, the big £1000 jackpot. I wanted to see who were winners, and of course, report the outcome to all the Tidy Bingo players who were otherwise engaged.

In total there were a whopping 4,437 when the game got underway and I was on tenterhooks (as I am sure the players in the room were too).

Posted by on: Tuesday, Jan. 5th 2016 3:56 PM

Just before Christmas we made our fourth donation to the Help For Heroes charity thanks to the your continued support of the Tidy and the Troops game.

To date we have now donated £2238.75 with a further £49.25 raised since we last donated to this great cause. As always when we make a donation, Help For Heroes send us a letter and if you continue reading you will find a scan of the letter received.

Thank You, Thank You And Again, Thank You

Posted by on: Tuesday, Dec. 22nd 2015 7:38 PM

There are many things that I love about Tidy and for those of you that know me, you’ll know that it has always been a dream of mine to run my own bingo site. From player, to host, from host to writer and then writer to site owner, it took me ten years to get here but I did.

There have been ups and downs, as our blog readers know, but one of the biggest ups happened this week. Quietly beavering away in my office, the doorbell rings with a delivery…..

Our Heart Is No Longer Heavy..

Thursday, Nov. 12th 2015 5:58 PM

It’s not often that I am really excited to be writing a retraction of content that I have previously posted but today I am over the moon! David and I have just been on a conference call with Ben and Alex of the 15 Network and are pleased to announce that we have been able to reach a compromise that all parties are happy with.

First and foremost this means that Tidy will be staying exactly how it is – all the exclusives, the Cupboard, CM Blondie – it will all remain – if you’ll still have us?

Tidy Lotto Changes

Monday, Oct. 12th 2015 1:03 PM

On Saturday 10th, October things changed in the National Lottery Lotto game and as such, things have to change a little in our Tidy Lotto promotion too. Currently we actually have very few players actually participating in this promotion but who knows, a little reminder like this might increase the numbers.

Below is a list of all the Tidyers who have submitted six numbers by email to team@tidybingo.com. All of these players, provided they have deposited at least £20 in the month prior to a qualifying Lotto draw, are in with a chance of winning up to £50 in bonus funds / £25 cold hard cash. Is your name on the list?

Jackpot Changes – For The Better?

Tuesday, Sep. 1st 2015 2:29 PM

As a regular player at Tidy Bingo you may have noticed that as of today there have been some changes to the jackpot schedule. As is often the case with the changes to the network, neither David or I were consulted and at first glance, weren’t overly impressed. That said, when we did the maths and looked at the overall picture – the new schedule is better for you as players for a couple of reasons.

The first is that in total, over a month, there is more money now in the jackpot kitty, not much mind, but still more than there was based on the old schedule. AND whilst there is more money in the prize pot, the cost of taking part has reduced slightly too which means you can win more but are paying less.

Changes To Payday Jackpot

Saturday, Jan. 24th 2015 7:09 AM

The payday jackpot has been a popular game with players across the 15 Network and there have even been a few Tidy winners along the way. Currently the £1,000 jackpot is split between the one line, two line and full house winners on the game but as from 28th February this is set to change as the game becomes a community jackpot game.

For players this means more chances to win as a substantial amount of the prize pool, £300 to be exact, is taken to share amongst the players left with 1TG, 2TG and 3TG when the full house has been called.

Heads Up For Tidy Blog Readers

Monday, Sep. 15th 2014 8:07 PM

On 19th September there is to be a change to Team Bingo. The first change is the name, it will be known as Dream Team Bingo from that date. The other changes we will explain in a moment along with details of how you can claim a £5 bonus. Now this bonus is restricted to a first come first served basis and being offered to players across the network. There are to be just 20 of the £5 bonuses given away in total across the 15 Network and we want Tidyers to be in there claiming them!

The bonus is to be given to the first 20 players to register for Dream Team Bingo BUT you cannot email in until the 19th September when the content for the promotion is live on the site.

Birthday Bash Changes

Wednesday, Aug. 20th 2014 9:57 AM

Many of you who have been with Tidy since the beginning will be well aware of the exclusive promotions that we offer to our players. The same cannot be said of those who don’t read the blog or check out the promotional pages on the site. Whilst we would love it if everyone got to know their way around the site, we understand that different people have different expectations of their bingo experience.

For this reason we have chosen to open the Birthday Bash promotion up to a wider Tidy Bingo audience by a slight change in the rules to get in the draw. We removed the requirement to pop along to the Tidy Cupboard and repeat a promotional phrase, it’s apparent that this hasn’t had the desired effect and enticed more into our standalone room.

A Fond Farewell To Cash Cloud

Thursday, Nov. 21st 2013 11:36 AM

Firstly an apology, I’ve been a bit busy creating the exclusive promotion for Tidyer’s for December which has meant that I’ve been a bit quiet here on the blog! However, it’s all done and details should be live on the promotions page next week. I’m back now but with sad news. As Tidy blog readers will know I’ve quite enjoyed a Thursday and the first game in the Cash Cloud room.

Since Tidy first opened I’ve religiously checked the jackpot on the first game every Thursday to see if we ever beat the record of just over £583. This Thursday is the last time I will be able to do that because the Cash Cloud is closing. Tonight is the last game in the Cash Cloud room so come on Tidyer’s let’s give the room a good send off and beat our record!

XFactor 10th Series Changes

Friday, Aug. 30th 2013 1:06 PM

The 10th series of the XFactor kicks off this Saturday and I for one can’t wait! I love watching the auditions but this series sees a few changes to how the whole process works. Not only is Tulisa no longer on the panel and Sharon Osbourne is back but the audition process is now in two stages.

Previously acts had to audition live and then three ‘yes’ votes meant that they were through to boot camp, for this series of the X Factor this is not the case. The first audition sees the contestants back in the intimate audition room rather than on the live stage. If they get the votes required then they have to perform to the judges again in the arena to prove that they can also impress and audience. It is only then, with the right number of ‘yes’ votes that they will be able to go to boot camp.
